And I know it is very important that she eats and drinks but she won't touch anything. How can i make her eat or is it normal to not eat til the next morning? Will she be ok? Sorry I know this is in the wrong subject but I know there will more of you on here right now...

the anaesthetic will be upsetting her tummy, she will instinctively eat when she comes around

Hey GlitteryPink,

If she still isn't eating tomorrow then I would call or visit the vets and tell them the story and they might recommend that you get her some 'recovery food'. Its a sachet of power that smells like rabbit pellets. You mix it with warm water and syringe it into the rabbits mouth. But also rabbits have very sensitive tummies and if there is something wrong with their digestive system then they shut down and don't eat at all. They need to eat so keep a close eye on her. Make sure she is drinking too.

Let us know how she goes.

Thank you, i did take her back this morning and the vet gave her another pain killer injection and she has since started eating again. No drink yet but she's eating veg so is getting moisture from that. Have been given a syringe aswell to give her water if she still isn't drinking tomorrow so she is definitely on the mend now! Thanks guys she is my first bunny and I panic when i don't know what to do!

Thanks Ruby, so sorry to hear about your poor bunny. Thanks for the website, I'm always searching for them but have never come across that one and it's really useful.
You're welcome hun. Estie sent me that one months ago when I got my new rabbit and I wanted to know about how to bond them so they could live together. I thought they were both female but now I know one of them is a male so would have been a mistake. Lol
