Money .
I suspect she's got enough of her own money.
Well pasta, she wants more :-)
apparently she's already a multi millionairess . . .
For once, I'm not that cynical, anne... ;)
It's easy for strangers to point and laugh at couples with an age difference because one of them is wealthy, and jump to the conclusion that money is the root and reason.

But why should it be?

Are rich people not as likely and able to find love in the same way as the rest of us?

i would suggest that a man who has built a business empire as successful as that would have enough basic knowledge of human nature to be able to spot a gold-digger a mile off!

Dating and independently wealthy woman for two years and keeping it off the media radar suggests a couple who are simply in love with each other.

Cynicism is as simple as it is inaccurate.
He's a lucky man - she's gorgeous!!
I agree with both of a-h posts.

If you are a billionaire you are not likely to marry an old "broiler".........are you ?
Do we think he would get a 30 year old if he were an electrician ?( no disrespect to electricians )
Sqad - // If you are a billionaire you are not likely to marry an old "broiler".........are you ? //

That wasn't actually the point I was making.

Canary's assertion is that Lady Kitty is only attracted to her partner because he is a billionaire, and that's the only reason she is considering marrying him - gritting her teeth, lying back and thinking of the money.

My point is, why can't they simply love each other for who they are?

A gold-digger wouldn't wait two years for a ring, she'd have him down the aisle so fast his ears would burn!

And for the gentleman involved, maybe he loves his future bride simply because of who she is, and her beauty is a welcome addition, but by no means an essential component of their relationship.
anne - // Do we think he would get a 30 year old if he were an electrician ?( no disrespect to electricians ) //

I'd think he would 'get' whomever he loved and whomever loved him - that's rather how love works.
AH . In fairness most men don’t tend to have a partner 30 years their junior .
Good luck to them both. I can understand what she sees in him, he's a very attractive man.

/////That wasn't actually the point I was making./////

I know, but it was the point I was making.

Bizarrely, they don't seem to even show a photo of him?
He's in my link Pixie.
Thanks mamya x yes shirley- he is more attractive than she is. Good for her :-)
What is this all, about love, the question involves marriage?

Attractive or rich people marry for convenience or social or financial enhancement and the rest marry for "love".
Or the other way round... :-)
