My little granddaughter has just been singing this over the phone, she has learnt (learned?) it at school. I asked her what it meant in English and she doesn't know.
I told her to be sure to ask her teacher :D

Hope it doesn't give her nightmares

Literally about plucking a skylark but I suspect a metaphorical undertone of undressing a mademoiselle.

All the chicken that these kids eat has been plucked, and they ought to be told. Why do so many pretend that meat is just pink stuff in plastic?
