I think I can do more links separately, not sure if I can do short videos...
I have a rescue dog, given to me as a "cocker". She has had at least 3 homes in less than 3 years.... and we are not sure whether she may be a Springer.
Much bigger and heavier than a usual cocker.
Anyone have any guesses please?

Thanks, Tony- I will xx I will also ask the vet's opinion at next visit.
Her name is Daisy, Tilly. Apparently, originally Beau... which is a boy's name! She is very healthy, happy and waggy now xx
She’s a springer, they need lots of walks and are quite lively dogs, but lovely temperament. She looks lovely, enjoy.
pixie she is obviously contented at your house.

Hi shoots, thanks xx I know they were originally the same breed, and sprinters were the bigger ones and then bred separately. I have a cocker too, and he is apricot roan, but much smaller and slighter. Just different xx
Good for you! Your darling daisy. :-)
Question Author
Riptide, she is full on active, like my cocker.... loves long walks and her paddling pool, but so affectionate. Thank you xx

Thanks Tilly :-). Number 4 lol. My parents think I am replacing the children as they move out... but dogs are much nicer :-) xx
You should save some time and affection for your bonsai though... ;-)

My what?? Lol x
Is that not a bonsai pot next to the tennis ball?
Oh she's gorgeous.
I do wish people would stop posting pictures of sweet dogs...I must not look...l must not look...yet.

It used to be lavender, shoots. Except she has dug it out lol.
Pasta, I have only just seen about sammi, I am so sorry- but bless you for giving him a proper chance. Please don't let it put you off... I had a vaguely similar experience, and you blame yourself, but you really shouldn't xx
if it's as mad as a box of frogs - it's a springer :-)
Thank you pixie xx
I do keep asking myself what I could have done differently. Logically, I know nothing. There will be another dog I hope at some point. I'm just giving myself a breather for now. I've heard the rescues may experience a post lockdown influx.
Anyway, enjoy your new gorgeous girl. She looks fabulous.

She absolutely is, mushroom :-) xx
Pasta, I got a street dog from Romania a couple of years ago. I ended up having to have her pts only 3 days later and she was only about 18 months old. She had got so much worm damage to her stomach and intestine, she was in huge pain and couldn't be helped. I really thought that I should have done something differently, and in the end, it was the vet who convinced me that it was nothing I had done and persuaded me to get another. I have had 3 rescues since then, all happy and healthy. Take your time, but don't give up. It wasn't your fault xxx
Neither, much prefer Heinz 57's.

Thanks Margie x
You can see her lovely character in her face, bonny Daisy.x
Question Author
Thank you, mamya :-). She's an angel, she isn't going anywhere now xx
She the image of my daughter's gorgeous 'Sprocker' and all the rest of the description sounds like that cross. Take all the exercise she can get, rolls on her back the moment you walk into the house..... gorgeous dog. Lucky you; enjoy.
We've started looking for a companion *** for our terrier - he gets on well with daughter's dog.
