Tonight on this show, there was a young lady with the worst tattoos I have ever seen. It looked like her entire body was covered, arms, legs back, front,
neck, and even parts of her face. One arm from elbow down was just coloured in blue with no pattern. She really did look horrendous.
How can people think they look nice?

No disrespect but I doubt she really cares what you or others think.

Was the programme good?

I don't watch those now as I have no pets.

I do have a tattooed daughter though ;-)

The programme was excellent. I don't have any dogs either but it was interesting to see the mistakes some owners make and how easy it was to correct them.
It's knowing the right techniques often, yes.
I agree with you Caran. But each to his own I suppose.

Our little dog watched the programme and thoroughly enjoyed it!
I agree Caran - tattoos were dreadful. Why anybody would put themselves through that - unbelievable. And the terrible thing they are on them until the end of their day. Just imagine all the blues will be like waves on their arms with the wrinklies. Her whole body - errgh.
I'll message Ed and get her to change the title of the thread shall I?
I haven't watched the program but friends who have and who know what they are talking about say that what is suggested is not kind or efficacious.
Is this thread about badly behaved dogs or about tattoos?

I was never much good at training dogs. It is hard work but makes living with them more relaxing in the long run.
We were mostly lucky with ours bar one who seemingly had a brain injury so couldn't help himself poor thing.

Most of dog training is common sense,
I do wonder why he walks dogs on the right,
i was always taught that dogs are walked on the left so you could keep your right hand free (assuming you are right handed), the Police and military do this for that very reason.

..... I noticed that as well and for a while I thought it was part of her clothing, but it looked unusual to me, so I kept looking .... until I realised that it was one of her many tattoos.
I'm not a big fan of tattoos, she looked horrendous in my opinion. She obviously feels happy in her own skin though, so who are we to judge?? Each to their own I suppose :)

Since the lady in question is not going to be asking you to gawp at her body art until the day she dies, it could be reasonably assumed that her choice to decorate her body is actually her personal choice, and absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with you, or anyone else.

It's a thought ...
As far as any body part consisting only of blue or black ink - that usually indicates that the individual no longer wishes to display the artwork, but it is too complex to be re-tattooed to show something else, which can often be the case, so the only solution is to blank out everything.

This can be anything from a large image of a no-longer-loved loved one, a birthdate of similar, etc.
She was a tattoo artist apparently.
Are we as abers not allowed to comment on something on tv. Just a question ?

Of course everyone and everyone is allowed to comment on anything relevant to the thread.

But they must expect to be challenged or called out on that view - that's the risk we all take, which is fine as far as I am concerned.
Of course they are, I would have preferred a more honest title.

'Dogs behaving very badly' is not reflected at all in the text of the OP.
