Wednesday. I haven't looked out yet, but it's slightly warmer this morning at 7.2°C. Just had a look out. Wall to wall cloud. No sunbathing today then! :o}
Nothing on the calendar for today, so it's collect the paper and a wee bit of shoplifting.

Have a happy day everyone.

its dark and none too warm, but after all its still night time really. I am not sure how long will last but i have woken up four times in the last 8 hours so feeling a bit punch drunk......
Question Author
Morning emmie xxx Of course I will.

Keep waking up is not good is it. Any reason that you know of?
i have no idea, but it usually happens when i dream, and this is taking a toll on the day to day stuff. Mind you i have no particular plans to do much today but it is very annoying.
Morning emmie and Boaty just got up for a cup of tea.
Morning , had my coffee so feel little bit more awake, how are you...
Question Author
Morning tony. That's a good reason to get up!
How are you mate?
spam in body and soul
not to bad WBM but this weather getting Jen down, cold and wet do not do her back any good.
doesn't do anyone good at all, this cold and wet gets me down completely, I know how Jen feels to be honest
Question Author
Got it emmie thanks.

Tony I can understand that. Cold and damp can be a problem for many who are not on top form. Jen's luck to have you to look after her.
emmie I just look on it as a season in the year, but my sister is affected by lack of daylight and bought herself a lamp that emulates sunlight.
Question Author
Vera had one of those. She found it helped a lot.
its the wet that keeps me indoors mostly. But the dark nights so early has me reaching for the duvet and hiding.
Question Author
Winter isn't my favourite season either!
we had gale force winds a day or so ago and that blew away most of the leaves on the trees, poor birds must find it difficult at this time of year, the ones that don't migrate that is. I hate this time of year.
Question Author
They have cosy nests, usually out of the weather.
i expect you are right boaty, i see many scrabbling around for food in our communal garden.
Question Author
That's their biggest problem at this time of year. I have three feeders hanging on a line that I keep filling up for them. I have an old garden table that I fill them up on. One cheeky male sparrow comes down onto it and watches me fill them and picks up the the loose seeds. :o}
Well I need to be away and get on with mundane household chores, so will say cheerio till tomorrow.
