Daft question maybe, but following on from Wolf63’s pic of Ed Sheeran/cat on Chico’s thread

I wanted to take a pic of my cat as she sat in the sunshine with her green eye blazing and her tortoiseshell coat, she reminded me so much of the Afghan Girl.

My cat hid just as I was going to press the button.

Is this your cat then, Clover?

I've been trying to word out who my cats remind me of. Chequers could pass for suspicious official at UK Passport Control, I think:

. . . and Moonbeam could pass easily for a hard-hearted official sanctioning your benefits at the DSS:

Oh, lovely, Buenchico. Mine could pass for the first one.
My cat looks a bit like Chequers. He's the most boring and dullest cat ever! He doesn't play or let anyone fuss him, doesn't sit on the sofa or sleep on the beds. He just stares at doors.
I used to do Moonbeam's job and I was never as cute as that.

Frankie and the late Princess Merlin were siblins and both black and white but they look nothing aike

Oh, bless him, ummmm. Does he go outside? Mine’s a housecat, but I don’t know if she’d bolt if I let her out.
Chequers is definitely the most bonkers out of my foursome, Ummmm, but he's certainly not 'boring'! (He's a big cat and, at 7kg, he can't understand why I don't appreciate him trying to sleep on my chest while I'm in bed - it makes it hard to breathe!)

There are more pics of my lot among my web albums here:

Ummmm Merlin would stare for ages and then go "eeek" and then go back to staring.
Yes, he goes out but only for very short periods. He's my sons cat and he went back to uni last month so the cat has been pining for him. He's so unsociable he's funny.
This is a picture of both of mine (I hope it works)

My cat looks like .... my cat :-)
Your cat, Toorak, looks like a counsellor or psychiatrist who is listening patiently to everything you say but only responding with "Yes", "Go on", "I see", etc, leaving you totally baffled as to
(a) whether they've actually understood you ; and
(b) whether they actually care ;-)

He cares - he is a cuddly boy

And he understands :-)

He is not as bright / insightful as he looks :-(

Such is the nature of cats!
It took half an hour to get this picture of sisters Porridge & Haggis. The glue was digitally inserted afterwards. ;)

Lovely cats, 4C, and lovely names too - although I'm not sure that I'd want to be calling them out in the street ;-)

Only half an hour to get a picture though? It can take me days to get a decent shot of any of mine!

;-)
Calling them was no problem when they were younger, Chris, as we were out in the sticks in Scotland. Now we're in an English town, and they're getting on a bit and don't wander far.
Funny thing is, once I'd taken the shot, they just sat there posing! Hence the idea for the glue insert.

In my, limited, experience girl cats are more feisty and unpredictable that boy cats. Do you think that you really want to live with Catwoman? She could be brawling with 'Your-woman' in no time at all.
Oh, she'd be a pussy cat.

Lovely pics of cats, everyone. I love the Superglue one.
Now the sun is out again I’m hoping mine will go into her Afghan Girl pose so I can get a good pic.
