huskie crossed with a german shepherd

saw a dog like this in new york. it was beautiful. are they common? anyone know what they're called if anything? where i can get one? how much?

Look up Akita on the internet & see if that was the dog you saw.

that sounds like it might produce a beautiful dog but maybe not one that is easy to own. You might get the trainability of the shepherd and the friendly nature of the huskie or you might get the non trainability of the huskie and the guarding instincts of the shepherd!

We had a discussion about Huskies on here recently, might be an idea to have a look before you think of getting anything with Husky blood in!
