....apart from getting on top of the garden and making some changes to cope with another nasty winter......and my ageing body.....

Ladybirds and bats! So lovely on the patio with wine and the bat detector.....

The two mating frogs from yesterday made it into the raised ponds.....still mating.....that must have taken some strength....and I've just looked.....still mating.....I wonder if the one on top has fainted or worse.....I may have to intervene.....this is too long for any male......no matter what they tell us........ :-)

Mating frogs last like that for ages. I remember taking some home to my Mum. It seemed a good idea at the time
Her name is Florence Floozy Frog. She's famous in the amphibian world. Treat her with care.

I quite like when they get excited and froth the pond water, 237....these two don't seem to be having much fun.....but then what do I know.....I'm not a frog.....after twenty four hours I'd want to get on with my knitting.....or back to the book I'm reading..... :-)

I'll not prod her with the stick then, Tilly.....well I was thinking of prodding him to see if he's alive...x
When I took the mating frogs home to my Mum I was quite young. Mum said she could still remember the conversation between my friend and I. I asked my pal what the frogs were doing and the answer was "They are in love"
after twenty four hours I'd want to get on with my knitting.....or back to the book I'm reading..... :-)
