Thursday. No frost and no air movement. fine by me. I'm off to the hospice this morning.

The kitchen is finally finished. A very good job it is too. The contractors were excellent. I'm pleased with the result. They were very good, Courteous and helpful. There were several teams, each doing their own particular job, working on several houses at the same time. All that is left now is the official handover tomorrow with the council head of department in attendance.

Have a happy day everyone.

Good morning WBM

Long time no speak... the weather oop north is crisp to say the least, no snow as yet unlike last week... being swamped down with the fluffy white... yet later dark slushy stuff that gambles with your footwear.

Good to know you have your Kitchen sorted, mines a rented home as well... finally had that sorted last summer, a three week estimated job took seven weeks. Good to have the keys back, that's a good feeling.

Hope your fine and well my friend.

Good morning ark. How nice to see you, :o} It's been 'inconvenient' but well worth it. They finishes two days early.

I'm not too bad thanks. Looking forward to getting my back and shoulder massaged. Sheer heaven! :o}

Oddly enough, I was thinking that I hadn't heard from you for some time just last night.

I hope you are keeping well and happy my friend. I ave missed your input. :o}
You haven't heard from me for a while... well that's because I don't give a toss about anyone on AB. ;-)

I've being keeping well thank you, ahh but a shoulder massage seems the ticket for me ... nothing wrong with my shoulder mind but love the idea.

Foot massage, leg massage, chest massage... the list goes on...

I know what you mean. There are some on here that take their pleasure by upsetting others, the most vulnerable ones. But there are some lovely people too.

Not only does the massage do the job and keep the shoulder pain free for three or four days, it's free!
Morning, Gents, from a very chilly N Wales. Glad the kitchen is finally done, Boaty - and 2 days early. You must have put something in their teas!

Free massage, eh? Could do with some of that!! Meant to ask yesterday, what's happened to all the 'old regulars' - Berniecuddles, Beejay, Noraq/Ellsman, moonie and the like?
I like most folk on AB, I was being a little sarky as though you were one of them. ;-) ... and certainly plenty of other lovely folk too.

A free massage... are you in Brighton?

This is the hospice.

A lot of people seem to have gone wherever. Minty is looking after her mum and is not too well herself.

I reckon some of them have gone to a permanent party and didn't invite us!
Meant to thank you for that link to the restaurants yesterday - just what we were looking for as well as the nod from DT, whom I also neglected to thank, Maxine is working her way through them to find'the one' she's going to take me to for my birthday nosh up - seafood being her favourite
Ahh.. we're not the popular kids any more...

You're welcome welshie. :o} Have a great time. :o}

ark that is sad, but true. :o{

The dew has turned to frost in the last half hour.
Ark - tell me about it...seems like i've fallen off the radar of some of my older acquaintances. Maybe they've pegged it and nobody has told me - after all, I am living nearly 200 miles from my hometown (not much longer, I hope). So looking forward to heading off back to my Yorkshire roots............
