Well, the veterinary nurses looked after it and waited until it was in good health before releasing it. They could not trace the owner from the rings as the numbers were not conventional. So, once it had gained weight and its tail feathers were back in shape, they released it and.........






it's back in our garden!

It has joined the flock of feral pigeons/doves that live on our roof and roost under our solar panels at night. Mr T insists on putting sunflower hearts on the lawn every day! I keep telling him not to........!

No, Hoippy we don't have a cat.

Yont, I'm not building a dovecote. 'Our doves are refugees from a dovecote round the corner which has been removed by the new house owners. They took the dovecote down and put a little nesting box on the top of the pole.
The doves are now coteless. Poor, little, white doves.

...and I like them. They are lovely.

The little ghostly one is my favourite though, it will walk up to me and shows no fear. I do wish it would go home, though.
