Morning boaty xx
How are you this morning my lovely? :o}
hi jan , tambo , cousin Bernie , wbm n all
wot about youse?
Morning beej. Fine thanks. you? :o}
dead on wbm , dead on mate
any of youse affected by the bad weather--seen on local news that places in ''our wee country'' were flooded bad , tho we didn't get it too bad in our metropolis- so we did nt
That's good beej. The Somerset Levels have been under water since New year. All because politicians think they know better than the people that live all their lives. They stopped dredging the waterways years ago. The floods they have now are the result. The government have finally agreed that the dredging will begin again.
yup - I seen that wbm - they have army in there too now to help , I think
seen on news some mp knob was visiting and local person being interviewd said'' all this machinery and water pumps are only here today because''yer man''(my words not hers)is here today'' - haha
That is correct beej. They said dredging was too expensive at £3M a year and unnecessary. It's going to cost them ten times that now. We are paying for their penny pinching.
they r good / keen to hand ''our'' money out to other things/people tho
( re your recent email )
:-)
