if anyone has the DM paper today have a look at the beautiful photographs by Hugh Warwick, page 28 i have tried looking them up to post on here, stunning photographs of a Robin feeding from his hand. I can't find the link to the pictures, so if anyone can, please feel free to put them on here

thanks mamy, i did get it eventually, they are such wonderful photo's, its a double page spread in the mail..

Yes there excellent photo's emmie.
Makes a change for the Mail to go to town with pictures of the feathered variety of BIRDS - they usually concentrate on the human variety.

canary, unless you buy the paper, that isn't necessarily so, they have some decent articles, two of the best cartoonist, Mac and Pugh, not to mention articles on health... fashion, if you are into that, and some newsy snippets...
Thats lovely, my dad was a gardener, when he went to one particular house, he used to dig the grubs up and through it on the lawn for the resident robin, in the end dad used to eat his cheese sandwich with it, when it rained and dad sat in the car to eat his lunch, it would come and sit on the wing mirror, waiting for a bit of sarni,

I am so so jealous.

I only get robins to feed from two foot away from our conservatory, with uncooked porridge that I leave out for them every single morning.
They seem to have disappeared for a week or two now. I'm sad!
