Fishy Question

this concerns guppies one of them is displaying strange swimming patterns ie lying vertical in the tank and swimming accross the tank in this fashion also lying against the pump anybody any ideas ? tia

Hi. Could be air in the fish bladder? I'm no expert but i had coy carp that would eat feed greedily and swallow air as the feed was the flake water surface type. Check out aquarium websites to see if they can suggest anything or another reason.
