My cat has had a funny lump under his eye for a year or so which the vet said was nothing of concern but the past couple of days it's been weepy and scabby.

He is a nightmare trying to get to the vet and goes crazy when you try and touch him so do you think a vet would look at a photo of it and tell me if he needs to be seen?

Hi Evian, I doubt the vet could diagnose efficiently from a photo, unless they could do a home visit ?
Yes agree with PP, I think the vet will have to see it in the flesh, so to speak.

Sorry, thanks for your replies.

I spoke to the vet who said there was no point looking at a photo but agreed it wasn't worth stressing the cat unnecessarily so just told me to keep an eye on it over the weekend and come in if it gets worse but it looks to be improving thankfully.
