Now, I appreciate that cats can be a nuisance. I am also more than happy if someone wants to give the ones that choose to live here a squirt with the hosepipe if they are a nuisance. I have also offered to pay for any damage previously.

However, I will NOT countenance some evil Sugar throwing bleach over one them which is potentially dangerous to him and to me. If I catch that ****** there will be real trouble. If you want to kill a cat, do the bloody decent thing and shoot it - not let it suffer a slow lingering death from licking something caustic.

It's been reported. I just think it is bang out of order. Having done some mental computation, this is not the first time. I also think it is the same person who complains about my trees and my cockerel (I don't actually have a bloody cockerel). I'll calm down soon. No question, just a rant.

That is awful, Barmaid. I hope your cat did not lick any of the bleach off as it would cause blistering etc.

As you say, some people are real evil.
Oh Barmaid I am so sorry to hear that. Hope you are ok and that the cat is alright too.

I hope you find the sick (_________) insert appropriate word - that did it and give him a piece of your mind and then some - I would!

Huge hugs from me and furs and purrs from my moggies

BM - remember if you have any bites you should go and see your doctor. My little Princess made a mess of my hand not so long ago and it turned nasty and infected.
Cruel, evil woman, I hope your cat is ok
Barmaid, hope your cat is ok, get Mr Barmaid to pay the evil ******* a vist !.
oh BM, how awful :-(

Hope you find him soon and he's ok- the poor thing :-(
My little black cat, Ebony, had a habit of jumping on my neighbours bin. She didn't go through it, just liked to lie on the top and bask in the sun. My neighbour took umbrage and covered the bin in poison. Ebony was no longer :( The evil barsteward got his comeuppance. Oh yes, revenge was sweet.

He's back. He's a bit wary of me (which is unsurprising seeing as I dunked him in a tub of water but you can't actually explain to a cat that it is in his best interests). We don't think he smells too bad. I shall just keep an eye on him to see if he starts salivating (which will indicate a blistered tongue). Mr BM is going to the DIY shop to get the materials to build stalag luft between our garden and hers. It wont stop them, but it might discourage them. We don't actually know it was the Mad Witch behind us, but we're fairly sure that's where the blame lies.
Can you not aim some CCTV cameras in her direction? Spook her a bit.

If you could prove that she did it is what she has done illegal?

I appreciate that many people dislike cats (and I understand why) but this was a callous act. Can you not talk to her and tell her what has happened and that puss is at the vet. The police are investigating etc etc Freak her out a bit. Or are you more likely to slug her?

I did actually tell her that in a round a bout way, Wolf. I had a loud convo with my mate on the phone saying what had happened and how I had informed the RSPCA (true) and the police (false) and how they were taking it v seriously. I knew she was in her garden so I sat by her fence and spoke extremely loudly.
Question Author
If I or Mr BM go round there atm, either one of us might slot her one. I'm too fired up to have a calm and rational conversation so I am staying away.
I WOULD tell the Police, barmaid, just to make the point.... and always, that's awful, really sad. Poor Ebony :-(
Question Author
I've told the RSPCA Boxy and got a ref no. The police wont be interested since the RSPCA prosecute animal cruelty cases.
that's terrible, surely she's not right in the head to do such a thing.
Fairy nuff, but you can still crack on that you've told your local CPO....
Oh God sorry words fail me BM, you must be so upset and angry. I'd want to whip anyone who did that.

I'm calming down now Prudie - seeing as he seems perfectly OK. Luckily, I think I got to him within minutes and dunked him in clean water. Had we not been here, I suspect the outcome may have been far worse - even so he is under a very close eye to make sure that there are no untoward symptoms. If he exhibits anything odd, he'll be at the vets quicker that you can say "evil witch".
I think anybody who hurts animals, children, old folk or anybody smaller or vulnerable, should be shut up in a cage and experimented on.

There used to be many moons ago a right old moaner where my parents then lived, he moaned about everybody and everything, children playing in their own gardens, cats, dogs barking, where you parked your car, music, flag flying - so the neighbours got together, taped him and put it through a loudspeaker right into his bedroom early one sunday morning. We all stood outside his gate, whe the window opened we all cheered and waved. He left soon after!

lol Spikey.

I can't be sure it is her, but she is the main contender. One side has cats, the other side loves cats, but because of his job can't have pets. I suspect it was the mad old witch behind us. Her garden also backs onto someone else's - he has put a gnome in his garden mooning at her because she has been so foul to everyone.
Truly sickening! I would do time if I caught anyone abusing any animal ! Why must they do this, they cant be right in the head ! :(
