Horse Chestnut I think
No, I've zoomed and that;s wrong sorry.
I know where one grows - the flowers are lilac coloured if it's the same one?
Prudies right its a horse chesnut
The leaves don`t look like Horse Chestnut leaves to me.
oh it's a lilac! they come in white, lavender blue & darker purple.. very fragrant, ... they smell nice too!
it's not a lilac nor a horse-chestnut. The leaves are wrong.
Where did you see it?
HORSECHESTNUT!!!!! .... may I enquire as to whether you live in an urban area?? lol
I think its sweet chestnut tree (and horse chestnut is pink blossom)
I've seen one before, but not sure. A cross between lilac and budellia?
It's none of those, the flowers are separate and delicate and shaped like laburnum but in a different arrangement - there's one of these trees in the gardens of Southover Grange in Lewes.

I agree the flowers looked like a conker tree, but the leaves are wrong...I have seen this before also, but in some botanical gardens somewhere. The leaves on this are similar to maple but are more triangular, where as a conker is like a sausage shape

This tree was in someones garden in the New Forest, Hampshire UK
Yes that's the one, I've just googled in Lewes, I'm sure it's a foxglove tree
That was a very good link boxtops.

botanical name

Paulownia tomentosa
wrong leaves the Pawlownia has small leaves

It's a Catalpa probably speciosa also known as the big bean tree
Trouble is it says Foxglove trees flower before the leaves come out (which seems apparent in your pic). OP's tree has very large defined leaves.
