I agree with 2shortplanks, if you need to get epilepsy diagnosed by the vet and if it is epileptic they will give you the right drugs to control it. Cavaliers can suffer from many health problems so it's best to get it properly diagnosed and treated.
http://www.cavalierhealth.org/epilepsy.htm As others have said could be anything causing this so best to get it checked. Keep a note of how often and for how long the seizures last to help the vet make a diagnosis.

Thanks for your answers, yes he has been to the vets and this was confirmed. Just wondered if any one knew of a homoeopathic remedy. Have had cavaliers for over twenty years never with this problem. Heart and eyes tested each year and his heart is fine. Will get onto the web, thanks Lankeela

malteasers, there are some vets who specialise in homeopathic treatments. In the past I have taken my animals to one miles away because she was highly recommended by a good friend of mine.
My cat is epileptic, and I know there are lots of different reasons/outcomes but I just wanted to sympathise. It's a really difficult thing to see x
