She won't know what she's done wrong - I am sure there are dog owners on here who can come up with some suggestions for trying to change this behaviour. Does she do it in the same place each time?
have the same problem, my puppy is now 6 months old, has been clean for about 3 months at least, and now she's urinating indoors again!......no idea why!...so frustrating!.........
Don't scold her-she hasn't a clue why she is being scolded, and she may associate scolding with weeing fullstop.
Instead-as soon as she wees-take her outside-do this immediately. In fact-take her out every 15 minutes until she goes....then praise her. It's a bit like house training a puppy. Eventually she will understand that outside is the place to go
thanks pasta, I will do that, but it's so strange!......she seemed to have learned that, and now she's just gone backwards for some reason!....no idea why!......
She's just a puppy welshi-so I suppose between her immature brain and her puppy bladder-she 'forgets'....lol
pasta, maybe so, but it's very annoying!....was wondering also if she's coming into her first season!.....That may explain it!...........maybe!......
Lhasa's and other breeds that are crossed with them (Zuchon, LaPom, Lacasapoo, etc.) are nortorius for being difficult to house train... just stay with it. Try taking her out every hour to the same place. They are very smart little dogs, and she'll eventually get the idea.

Keep in mind she (actually her ancestors) were bred for one purpose... to be the center of the universe for their ancient Tibetan masters. They are hard headed but very loving and on that basis respond very well to praise. "Nice wee-wee little white dog" or something to that affect...Best of luck!

Do you mean 6 year old ?
Clanad, mine is a Cocker Spaniel, and she's been really good until this week!...she's 6 months old now, and now she's gone back to urinating in the house again!......she has been clean for at least 3 months!.........
Someone else mentioned it could be the onset of coming in heat, welshlibranr... this may be associated with your problem, since 6 months is about average for smaller dogs to reach this stage... If you were going to have her spayed, most Vets would recommend it be now... That may also make it easier to house train her...

If our experience is somewhere near average for the Lhasa crosses, most owners will be disgusted to learn how much they like eating their own poo...
annadomino, what do you mean - 6 year old and six year old mean the same thing!
clanad, she doesn't eat her own poo, but have noticed thatn she is urinating indoors this week, and she hasn't done this for about the last 7 weeks at least, so maybe that's it!......

Do you mean 6 year old ?<

the OP means a 6 year old Lhasa Apso....is that clear?
Tis now, I asumed a typing error, they don't usually start peeing so late in life.
inappropriately
Yes-but this is a rescue dog...they come with problems we don't know about-that and the stress of being moved about will have an effect on them.
From past experience if your dog is on heat/period this can cause them to urinate uncontrolably, but this is probably not your problem Dogs like us can have uti infections this could cause your dog to pee a bit of lemon juice in there water every now and then is beneficial but other than that try taking her out every hour and wen she does her business, praise her give her a treat and use a clicker before they receive the treat these are cheap and effective then the dog will associate peeing outside with good things other than that maybe consult with a vet
There should be a comma after pee, lemon juice in there water is beneficial .......haha cudda sound wrong
