those of you with cats...

How many times have you had to pick your Christmas tree from off the floor?

I thought I was doing pretty well, Indy was contend with just batting the baubles on the tree, she particularly liked the bell ones that were there, until this morning when...CRASHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

Tree on it's side, dogs scattered upstairs and cat merrily playing with the baubles that have been flung around the livingroom. I go to inspect to find that one of the legs on the tree is now broken so now wont stand up, so I'm effing and blinding underneath the tree desperately trying to figure out a way to make it stand up again, the dogs still shivering upstairs and the cat's right next to me with a look on her face of "coooooo, looky all this, how did this happen?" I want to kill her!

Have a look on You Tube at Simon's Cat and the Christmas tree - hilarious.
Bless!
My dogs had the tree down one year and I cried....lol [but then gain they did eat the whole thing] I thought the parrot would be the worst offender this year but so far no one has touched it!!!! Plenty of time though!

Merry Christmas.....

Lisa x
You were warned..... best put some nails in the wall about halfway up the height of the tree and secure it with some string....little darling I'd be wetting myself they all do it... Boris used to climb right to the top when he was a tiny kitten... trouble is he used to try when he was full grown.... 18 lb of ginger tom makes a hell of a crash
my cat can't even bring himself to look at the tree.

its the bunny rabbit thats having a good old chew and trying to bring it down.
Ahhh, dont you just love them?

Least all the dog does is eat the Lametta (sp?) thus giving me festive poop to pick up.

Can't believe the cheek of this cat- all this carnage and she just sits next to me playing amongst it all.

Yes Merry Xmas to you too Lisa, lol.

There is string Rowan, or what I thought Mr Boo used to tie it to wall....I've since discovered, (this morning in fact) the dozy pillock used elastic....!!! I mean elastic? Cretin!
Partner's dog never touched the tree, but he did eat the wrapped box of Thorntons when we were out. Grrr
CD spends a large part of each evening picking up baubles and re-arranging her now distorted tree masterpiece, muttering 'he's going back to Battersea'...
don;t have a christmas tree - simple!
lol snags, love your avatar, that chef woman gives mrs kou the creeps.
she's only a baby and likes sparkly things
Can see why elastic wouldn't work... typical man 'oh that'll do the job....' no it won't !!
Ankou... something for you to send to Mrs. kou's email inbox ;-p

every morning i find the baubles sprinkled across the house. as the tree is only little (3ft), my cats would definitely look stupid trying to climb it, but i'm sure someone will have tried x
1,dogs did it,cat gets blame. 2 seal of approval really?

I've just emailed Mr Boo at work, and asked if we send her back does he think we'll get our money back? LOL
Oh dear...poor little Indy is in the Moghouse
Question Author
He reckons we should get compensation too, lol- I agree! Little bugger is fast asleep looking angelic on the sofa now, harumph!!! Whereas I am looking sadly at my wonky tree :-(
