This made me smile, very Human like.
Reminds me of the ones at Chester Zoo, they have a TV in their sleeping quarters and their fav Programmes were Horse Racing and Ready Steady Cook !
When their Keeper switched 'Off' the TV at Bed time all Hell broke loose !!! lol lol

Was talking to their Keeper the last time I was there Trim and he was telling me about the TV which made me laugh !!

I do think it is quite sad to see them in a zoo setting though. I know a few zoos are helping with breeding programs to slow the extinction of many animals, but even so these animals should be allowed so much more room to roam about... and don't get me started on caged birds! lol

Have you seen the ones at Monkey World in Dorset daffy? They are kept as naturally as possible and have a good life. They take in abused monkeys and apes that need rescuing.

I used to watch the programme several years ago notasyoungasiwas. They do a great job there and the environment is much better than any zoo I have ever seen.
