a couple of yrs ago i had a chinchilla, i had it for 3yrs then it died. the pet shop owner told me they live up to 30 yrs but when i spoke to someone else he said they only live bout 3 yrs, does n e 1 know how long they actually live 4???

an alibi???.......erm.......errr......yer.. er i was on err...holiday, yer i was on holiday and erm.... my neighbour was spose to come and look after it......but....err....ermm....when i got back...she said it had.......ermm....it had just died. so i blame my neighbour.

i have 3 chinchillas and they are ment to live 10-15 years maybe it was ill or starved to death did you get a vet 2 check
