10 years ago I'd just moved into a new house. All my spare time seemed to have been taken up with decorating it. Looking around me, it could do with another coat of magnolia emulsion.

Intresting question janzman. I'd have to go back 15 years or so as I spent a lot of time on Sega megadrive but yes before that went shopping, pub lunches, country walks much more than I do now.

There was internet ten years ago.... Mind you, I would have been unlikely to spend a whole day on it on a day off then and still am now (if it was an annual leave day), I usually take time off with a specific purpose in mind.

Actually - ten years ago I was just completing my degree. I was very grateful then to have the computer rather than the pages and pages of manual word-processing I would have had to produce for my dissertation, if I'd done it earlier. My hi-tech kit at that time was a Home Fax, quite a rarity in those days. I'd only just got rid of the half-brick mobile phone!

Gardening...DIY...Walking...compared to today much more physical than 'chatting on AB'we are not as healthy as we were... are we?

Ten years ago I was on the internet, and spending all my time on it cos it was dial up!

Ten years ago I was in my final year of my law degree so wold have been studying.

If not studying then working or maybe watching videos (I think I had just got my own video player!), e.mailing or chatting in chat rooms (in uni computer rooms as had no internet) and doing general studenty stuff. Seems like another world in a way as was living by the sea then and would have thought nothing or wandering down the seafront, having a drink watching the sun set over the sea or sitting on the beach after a night out (when everything closed early).
