E-bay. Pee'd off.

Why do most people put things on e-bay at night, so those of us who only have access to computers during the day miss most of the 'last bidding' war. Twice this week I have bit on 2 x beautiful German Art Deco clocks (xmas present for the BF), and being pipped at the last post. S'not fair. I suppose I'll just have to technologise my home, which I have resisted for years. Or get a dingle dongle that actually works at more than 2 miles an hour.

I obviously have good taste though - they did go for a surprising amount, rather larger than my maximum bids. But I can't resist a scuffle or a challenge, and know I would have upped it.

Salla, get a snipe account ,then you don't even need to be at a computer to bid on an item, it'll do it for you.
Basically what it does it bid your highest amount for you in the last 5 seconds. Obviously if someone has bid a higher amount than you, you'll still lose it, but you stand a better chance.
