The oldest living cat is Creme Puff of Austin Texas. Born on August 3rd 1967, Creme Puff celebrated her 38th birthday in August 2005.

Couldnt find if she is still alive now, 38 is a pretty damn good run though.

I think that the average lifespan is about 14 years. But many get killed doing 'cat stuff'. My boss has a cat who is 23 and still going strong.

My two are 5 on the 29th of this month - if they live that long. ;-)
