Since i have had to take in my mums canaries my cat is going crazy she just sits and stares at them given half a chance she would pounce what can i do until they find a good home?

Is there no way that you can get somebody to 'canary sit' the birds until they can find a new home? It would stop you and the cat getting stressed out about the situration. I would imagine that having the cat sitting staring at them is making the birds a bit nervous too.

Are their no canary fanciers groups in your area - they must have some rehoming network for them!

I hope that you get things worked out - and hopefully they will be happy in a new, cat free, home. Our little feline friends "look" so cute and innocent..... :-)
