My friend brought 3 chinchillas 2 weeks ago & we noticed that the 2 in the bottom cage are different sexes, they are 8-9
months old & have been together since they were first bought. she doesnt want them to mate so does anybody know how you can tell if they have been done or how old they
are before their ready? thanx

Not wanting to scare you but I though this was interesting.
It is probably worth asking your vet especially as it seems they are more of an unusual type of pet!
