Bearing in mind that both my dog and cat are white, and shed fur constantly. I am also the throw queen,so there will be no shortage of cover ups...lol.
I've also read loads of reviews for what I want, and they are 95% positive re ease of washing.

No because I like red wine and sometimes after a glass too many I get sleepy or clumsy.......cue spillage.....

Also, I have a pair of jeans that are still bleeding dye on my soft furnishings.
No, for me it would be a disaster waiting to happen and I'm be constantly worrying about getting something on it, whether I did or not.
Yes because It can be blasted with stain removers/whiteners etc to keep it fresh.

@rowan, that was my though also...particularly as the coloured options for this model are mostly dry clean only. I can always invest in a second set at a later date.
Definitely no.
I have recently bought a cream coloured recliner chair and I am scared to touch it unless I have just washed my hands and my clothes are clean,so you can't do most jobs around the house and just flop into it.
More trouble than what it's worth, but at least it looks good.
I would, lifes to short to make do when there are things out there that you really want. Go for it.
Just to add, I had washable covers on a sofa a few years back and they washed up very well.
If you can afford it order the second set of covers at the same time it may well be cheaper than getting them done from scratch at a later date. I'd probably have a warm colour like a beige for winter and the white for summer
Nice as they are, I couldn't as we are a messy family. OH comes home from work and plonks down on the sette and daughter can lay on one for days spilling all sorts of food and mess. I am clean and tidy of course. At the mo we have a bright yellow one (inherited of course) and the trouble I have keeping it clean, drives me mad. I hate throws but have to resort to them sometimes.
p.s. I also had beige removal covers for the suite but the effort of keep changing them and forcing them back on as they have shrunk over the years, I gave up!
Not sure I'd want to buy a sofa that NEEDED regular washing, easy or otherwise.
My friend has 2... and 2 kids. Her sofas are spotless. The covers remove and wash easily enough.. which she has done many times and the sofas still look great. I think they were originally from Sofa Sofa? She puts throws on the seats when visitors come round, so this helps protect them too.
Definitely not!

No matter how clean they come up, you've still got the hassle of removing and putting the covers back on- far too much work involved.
oh lord, wrestling with cushions when you put the covers back on... bane of my life, I'd sooner go three rounds with Giant Haystacks. All you can do is choose a colour that will mean you have to do it as seldom as possible (once every 10 years or so would be ideal).

White is not that colour.
The daughter has 2 cream loose covered sofas, and as she had a large dog they need regular washes, but they always come up like new.
I am idle so always go for leather.........
What' s the issue.... you have to take your curtains down and wash them a couple of times a year do the covers at the same time
Good grief Rowan, I don't have curtains!!
We have very light cream covers on our sofas and a cream carpet. Bought up to kids and the cover and carpet are still going strong. I wash (the covers) every 2-3 months
If you or anyone in the house wear dark denim jeans you might find they mark light furniture.
No, those sort of sofas look fabulous in other people's homes but I wouldn't want one. Each to their own, go for it if you want one!
