I do hope that this story has a happy ending for the cat. It is a beautiful cat.

But can you imagine spending all that money and the little monster moving out and not saying 'good bye'. Maybe moved in with his girlfriend in the next village.

Ungrateful little beggar! Fingers crossed he's OK.
I'm sure I read a story the other day about a German cat ending up in Scotland, unless I dreamt it.
Awww, hope he's ok, an not a victim of a RTA :-(

Alba- how did they know the cat in Scotland was a German one? Was this a clue?

I hope it's not a radical cat and its off to Finsbury Park Mosque to do a bit of preaching.
''They have offered a £25 reward for the cat's return''

pmsl... seems a bit stingy after all the effort and expense they went through.

It's probably that Abu Cat-ada we've been hearing so much about.
..news just in. He's taken part in a suicide attack. He lacked the manual dexterity required for bomb making so he settled for running under a bus.

Video has emerged of him wearing a bandana and ranting about slaying the decadent western mice.

If he only entered the county legally by latching onto a British family does this mean he may be sent back to his country of origin?

Maybe he will set up home with some British lady cat with a couple of youngsters to support and he will be able to stay. There might be a language barrier when he goes to find a job somewhere.

If I had paid all that money for a cat I would be crying my eyes out.

It happens alot with these sneaky foreign cats. Once they get their paw in the door, they can argue it's against their 'ooman rights to be deported.
If they've got a good enough lawyer it won't even matter that they're not 'ooman.

My two are superior to us mere 'oomans - I thought that they all were.

I better go and see who my lady cat is with - she is muttering to someone and it isn't her brother.

Do you think that they will find him and deport him in time for Captain Hook's flight - Abu Hazmat or whatever.
More money than sense imo, how much good would £6k do for an animal charity in the UK?
Question Author
I agree - it is a lot of money. A case of heart making a decision without clicking the brain into gear.

I think that we have enough animals in this country needing homes. Want a cat? Two cats?
I agree baldric, but I also understand their need to help this cat by bringing it home. Hope it turns up safe.
Wish I could find it. They can keep the £25 but a lifetime's supply of free chocolate YES Please:-)
loll B00, brilliant!
I think it purred in german and murmured 'ich bin eine deutsche moggie'
