I said a few days ago that I would give my opinion on 'paw wax' well it did not work on my ceramic tiles, in fact the floor was more slippy than before, so I ended up scrubbing it off and going back to the cream cleaner treatment, after saying that however there were very scant intructions on the tin, which is not much bigger than a tin of shoe polish, hope this information is helpfull if you are thinking of trying it.

You are supposed to put the paw wax on the dogs pads not on the floor.

So very funny, wipe the tears and calm down now Traci.
This deserves to go into the "Updated Site Rules" thread. Oh dear, I'm off again.

No, on the tin it says to put it on the floor for a non slip finish for dogs, and to apply to the dogs paws to protect from things like salt in winter and tar on hot days in summer, not that my old girl would let me put it on her paws anyway, but surely the effect would be the same, the wax would be more slippy when warm? so have any of you tried it? and did it work? thats really the question.
Cecil, are you kidding us?
Well I've never heard of putting on the floor before, but if that's what it says then I can't argue. The paw wax I was thinking of is put on their paws to give them grip on slippery floors such as indoor showrings.
I have used Paw Wax, it basically says to apply to dogs paws.

Why would it be such a small tin if you are supposed to put it all over the floor, and why call it paw wax too, it would be called non slip floor wax?
Please don't use it. My dog slipped on it, hit her head and had a stroke. She was never the same and had to be put down.
Maybe times have changed?
