Here is Charlie just 48 hours since the last video was taken. He had a good day yesterday too.

What a horrible, horrible decision to have to make, Chrissa. So sad. Thinking of you. x
Thanks ttfn... I've been a tad busy since my last visit but will always drop everything for my Charlie! :) x

Ssh clipclop.
Hi Chrissa, can I ask if Charlie is on any meds right now? In the first video he looked like he felt sick, this could be from the pressure in his body but just wondered if he was on any pain relief.

The vet said that he wasn't in pain and just knew that something was very wrong.
He's on a diuretic to alleviate the fluid on his lungs.
Is it Furosemide? If it is you really need to make sure that he keeps taking on fluids...I know it's to get rid of fluid but it de-hydrates the whole system, not just the bits you want drained.
If he is not eating and drinking well now is the time to spoil him [which I don't doubt you are]. You need to encourage him to drink a good amount. I have used, in the past, watered down pro-biotic yoghurt and a very weak gravy....sorry if I am teaching you to suck eggs so to speak but I thought this may help.

He's on Prilactone and he is drinking a lot, even when he was off his food. So no worries there.
