Not a good weekend. Only rehomed 3 kittens(to the same person). Cat i rehomed 2 weeks ago was brought back the day after as they 'couldn't cope' with the smell of its poo! Some people!! Good news is we've had some good donations in so installing more 'Cat Toilets' which makes our lives a bit easier & more time to spend with the cats.

3 kittens to 1 person - alert the nearest psychiatric hospital as they will drive the humans nuts in only a matter of days. ;-)

My little tom Frankie has poos that are so awfully smelly that I can smell them down stairs and through a door. The smell goes in minutes. Some people have no heart!
I often donate to cat rescue. It is very close to my heart. I don't understand why anyone would take a cat and then bring it back. Do you charge them a fee when they take a cat?
Question Author
Thats what i thought wolf!
No but they asked for there's back which we did!!!!
I don't understand Kat. If you don't charge a fee, how can they ask for it back?
Question Author
Sorry micmak we charge a suggested fee of £50.
What unkind people. The cat is better off without them. What did they expect, poo smelling of flowers!

Some people are unbelievable.
When I was more physically able, I used to go and clean all the litter trays out at a local rescue centre on a regular basis. The rescue centre closed down and our nearest centre is too far now to go and help, otherwise I would gladly go and spend time there - they like people to go and just talk to the cats.

It would have been only for 2 weeks whilst they kept it in until it settled then they were letting it out! I've cleaned her litter tray out today(she dosnt mess anywhere else) & it didn't smell any worse than any other cats poo!!
Some people seem to think of them as accessories and don't like the more unpleasant aspects which is part and parcel of pet ownership. I hope they never get another animal, they clearly have no idea and the poor cat is probably better off. It makes me so cross!
Rant over, sorry
Question Author
You rant away bensum i'm with you all the way!!
Poor little thing. Hope she finds a new home very soon with people who know what they are doing. I hope they never get another animal!!
Question Author
Sorry bensmum
Oooh Ben'smum and I posted almost identically!!
Well I would not have given a refund. Some people are so cold. I wonder if they will try to do that with their children if they don't live up to expectations.

She'll be rehomed soon Lofty she is a lovely who loves to sit on your shoulders!
Give their babies back if they dare to soil their nappies, perhaps!!
I would take them all in if I could! I have had up to 5 and two dogs. Now down to one cat and one dog. Have to think of vets bills! When my present two are no more :o( I will take on elderly animals or those that have health problems and we can all jog on together in our old age!
Question Author
Ha Ha Lofty!
She sounds lovely and I hope she finds the right home soon. I love cats even though my 2 are horrors at times (aren't they all?). I agree with micmak and Lottie about those people having children - god forbid!
