She is Terrier Cross and 10 weeks now and very cute but, she has started to dig holes in the lawn (3) to put her toys in.
She also wont stop biting and when I scold her she just barks back and thinks I am playing with her.
She is very good in other ways, house trained and dosent cry when I put her in her bed at nighttime,

Any advice please?

Trimeresurus,

She understands NO and stops when I say it to her when she starts playing with the curtains and TV cables, so there!
It's a terrier thing, terriers dig, either live with it or give her her own doggy area of the garden and teach her to use it.
"Its Mother wouldn't say 'no' and 'bad girl' ... do what its Mother would do".

Yeh, pick her up by the scruff of the neck with your teeth and carry her inside
Welcome to the world of terrier pups!!

Little buqqers!! she is only 10 weeks, don't be too hard on her, just be firm.

Don't let her rule you, she will be difficult to break, terriers are very excitable and can be very headstrong. Enjoy your pup and persevere lol

Thanks RATTER,

Nice to get a sensible answer!
Elvis - I did bite my cat when he was a persistent biter, he looked extremely surprised (and I got a mouthful of fur, phaw).
We got pablo (westie) a sand pit and he digs in that ....the digging in garden just stopped he dug sooo deep! Then the sandpit seemed to help...and its good for the warm weather, the lid makes a paddling pool too lol xx

I bought my wheaten terriers (7 years and 9 months) a small tent and a tunnel. They love running in and out of it, taking their toys with them and chilling out. Mine both bit (bited?) when they were younger to test their teeth but grew out of it when they got their 'adult' teeth. They love rawhide chews and those plastic spikey bone toys, also Kongs that can be filled with food.
