"Kellogs Crunchy Nut Corn Flakes, it's ludicrously tasty" as the TV advert keeps telling us. Shouldn't it be "they are" instead of "it's"? I'd assume Kellogs have actually looked into this and their phrase is correct but it just sounds wrong to me

"It's" is correct in this case, because in each packet there is one tatsy one: the rest all taste disgusting.

I suspect it's because the "it" refers to the product rather than each individual flake. It's all about how the tagline scans, too.

Frosties' ("They're greaaat") manufacturers do the opposite.

In Meadowhall Shopping Centre, there are big signs up in the food court that say, "Looking for seats? There's 3,500 upstairs!" Oh, there is, is there?
