When I try to burn an MPEG2 on to a normal 80 min 700MB cd using nero, a message comes up saying that there is not enough room on the cd, so I try to overburn but it fails everytime, more or less straight away - is there a way round this, or do I have to get bigger CDs?

Thanks

Try using an MPEG editor to reduce its size. Overburn will only give you a small amount of extra data.

yeh use mpeg splitter and burn onto 2 discs.

if your movie is bigger than approx 500megs it wont fit as it expands in size when burnt

Mattk : Movie expands? Are we talking about burning a movie file as a VCD or just that any mpeg when burned as a data disc expands?

How big exactly is your file, kirsty?

It is an 798MB file, I am sure I have managed to put this size of file on a disc before, but I have just renewed my computer and it isnt working anymore.
I don't think you've ever put an extra 98MB on a CD before.
