Maybe it was an offer he couldn't refuse. A few grand for a few minutes work. I wouldn't turn that down.

You're right Count, It is a few grand, my nephew dressed up as a sausage in an ad once & was paid £500 for 10 seconds work (from an agency) & was told the "star" of the ad a has-been soap star was paid a 5 figure sum.

I don't know the ad but his fee will be well into 5 figures plus some deal on repeat fees.
