TKMAX and Cancer Donations

Every time you make a purchase in TKMAX you are asked if you would like to donate a £! for Cancer Charity while this is a great charity I think customers feel pressurised, I prefer to give to charity of my own choice. Wouldn't they better just putting a charity box on the counter and let people decide for themselves what to do!
