Has anyone seen that ridiculous dubbed advert for Glade Touch and Fresh? Where the young boy is telling his mother he want's to do a poo at his friend's house.

Is it just me or does anyone think this advert is rude and unecessary and will only encourage children to go around telling people they want to do a poo, instead of politely saying they want to use the toilet?

I haven't seen this ad, but it may be that the word poo fitted in better when lip-synced.

That said, there is one for Halls cough sweets (set on an aeroplane), where they don't seem bothered if the lips sync at all.
I agree rude little brat, the other one that gets me is the one for haribo sweets when the wee girl comes in and interrogates her father for eating them, what message does that give out to children,i know its meant to be tongue in cheek, but i dont find that funny!!!
Purists would argue that the word 'toilet' is just as offensive a euphemism as 'poo'. They would suggest that children should be taught to use the lavatory. Personally, so long as they don't do it on the floor I really don't mind. :)
It makes me cringe and reach for the remote before he even says the word!
the word 'poo' really doesn't bother me, its a typical word that a child would use.

Would sound worse coming from a little girl though. But thats just my opinion.

Don't really see the point of the advert to be honest.
horrendous ad - it was on last night when i was eating with the following ad being women babbling on about dulcoease .

Might be even worse than that "it's all gone, it's all gone" ad with the kid on the bog.

I cringed when I first saw that ad, it's vile. Horrible little brat.

I might complain to the Advertising Standards Authority. I hate it and I don't understand why any advertising company would think such an advert is appropriate.

I can't believe they would not uphold my complaint. Seems it's fine for children to run around shouting they want to "have a poo at paul's house".
Velvetee you are 100% right, it makes you think the child is a dirty little horror & the stupid way his screen mother looks , I could give her a slap, god knows what they are feeding children, if they need to use one of these Glade Touch and Fresh in the bathroom, an extractor fan should keep a bathroom fresh, unless you have rotten insides.
most adverts are are done by half wits anyway are we suppose to think they are interesting, do they think it will sell the product by using the word poo, as for the person who said it is better for them to say the word poo than do it on the floor, why does this woman's children do that I wonder, it just adds to children bad behaviour thinking that it's okay to go round saying rude words & acting like little stinkers!!
