Is the song "I'm A Man" actually sung by the Spencer Davis Group?

I got a copy of the song (Obviously I didn't download it as that would be illegal)!!!! but it just didn't sound the same.

Any ideas?

Hi Adrian,
The advert does not have the Spencer Davis version. I don't know who performs this one, sorry... but I would recommend the original, it is a great tune!

It is common for advertising companies to re-record a version of a popular song for use in adverts.

This is for two reasons - firstly they may not be able to secure performing rights for the original, or the use of the original may prove too expensive, so a deal can be worked out for paying composer royalties, and re-recording their own version using session musicians, which is considerably cheaper.

the singer in the advert is called charlie winston and is very good.
