My grandfather lent me a book once about a Mole named Jason and his friends. The were on a quest and he travelled with a few cats and met his girlfriend in a jazz (I think) club. Can anybody give me a title? I desperateky want to get this back in my collection!

Probably 'Jason's Quest' by Margaret Laurence, originally published in Canada in 1970.
