slice them up, put them into a microwavable container with a little water...dont fill the container or the water will spill...put on high for about six minutes, checking after four. then hopefully they will be cooked. tsp of water every hand full of carrots.

I only ever cook carrots in the microwave - have done for years. I simply slice them, put them in a bowl, put a bit of butter/marge on top, cover in clingfilm, pierce a couple of holes and them microwave on full for 3 or 4 minutes - simple! I've never put water in - it doesn't seem to need it!
