Hi - anyone know where the music from the new AA advert comes from? I'm sure it has some sort of football connection but my other half disagrees. Also where have I heard the Stranglers tune on the Vodafone ad before? Did it used to be a theme tune to anything or just a single? Cheers

According to www.commercialbreaksandbeats.co.uk/ , the music to the 2004 AA advert is 'I Was Kaiser Bill's Batman' by Whistling Jack Smith. As for a football connection...I have no idea!
The song is 'I was Kaiser Bill's Batman" - but it's not the original Whilstlin' Jack Smith recording - It's a cover-version of it. (I know cos I did it!)
No doubt it was defenatly Whistling Jack Smith I have the disc
