The answer to this clue has some connection to toilet humour.

Ken's character carried on and lost his head

8 and 5

Thought it might be connected to a Carry On film but haven't managed to find anything.

Any ideas?
Thanks

You're looking for Kenneth William's character's name in Carry On Up The Khyber... slang word for a toilet!
Khyber is actually cockney rhyming slang for ass (@rse)...
Khyber Pass - ass

Hi Quizmonkey.
thanks for your quick response.
I've just had a quick look on movie data base and found his name but although Khasi seems good, I can't fit it to the 5 and 8 that I need.

OOps forgot to finish off in my last post - character's name is
Rhandi Lal, the Khasi of Kalabar
I thought it might have more to do with Don't Lose Your Head - the French Revolution carry on. But Ken played Citizen Camembert, but that doesn't fit. Or it might be to do with Carry-on At Your Convenience (set in a factory that made toilets). His character in that one was WC Boggs, and that doesn't fit either.
Hmmm...interesting. I knew it was something Khasi - but assumed it would fit the 8, 5. Also odd is the apparent reference to Carry On Don't Lose Your Head in which he played a character called Camembert - no relevance! Scratching head now!
Kenneth Connor and Kenneth Cope were also in some Carry On films - might it relate to either of these?
I checked both other Kens - and came up with nothing!
