Can somebody please tell me when BMW changed the tail lights on the E46 Coupe. On the earlier models the lights appear to look different than to the latest models. You can now see several bulbs within the light cluster. Thanks!

These new ones are LED rear lights and they were changed around about 2004. These will not fit models with previous rear light styles, the car needs to be re-programmed by BMW in order for them to operate correctly.

Thanks skids! but i must admit i have noticed these on 03 plate cars onwards so i think your slightly out saying 2004. Some 03 plates do and some don`t i was after the month! soz mate!
