sorry, i know loads of people have asked this but i havent seen the right answer yet.......anyone know the tune?please say someone does....i love it!!!

all the answers I have seen identify the source of the music, ie the "mary queen of scots" soundtrack.


But what is the track called?

It's probably known as the main theme from Mary Queen of Scots, as I think this was used at the beginning of the film. Sorry can't be more specific. See if there is an old CD/record of the soundtrack.

ive tried all the ones people have suggested and its not the one....thanks anyway!

I have just seen this ad on TV. The music is "Forgotten Dreams" by the American light music composer Leroy Anderson. It's been recorded many times since it was a hit in the early 1950s. Leroy Anderson made the first recording with his own orchestra and it should still be available on CD.


A previous member has said it's the music from the film "Mary Queen of Scots". I don't know that music, so it's quite possible that there is more than one "3" ad, with different soundtracks.

for anyone else who wants it, the actual one from the advert in by leonard slatkin, but the one by russ conway is great too!

Forgotten Dreams was composed by Leroy Anderson , clasical American composer and Slatkin is the conductor on one of the many orchestral versiona available. Sample / download here
