I need the name/composer of the music to 3's latest ad, where the girl is being draped in pink silk.

It's a classical tune, with a piano solo, and then joined by a full orchestra

The tune is from the film ' Mary, Queen of Scots', composed by John Barry. Hope that helps.

1971. Some of the music was re recorded in 1992.

The John Barry '40 Years of Film Music' CD is not the best recording in my opinion. I think a better version can be found on 'John Barry Moviola' (Epic), although the version used on the advert is a different version again.

You are right - I have the "Movieola" CD and it is the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra Conducted by John Barry.
