Is the song on the now quite old three "we like music" advert remixed on the actual ad? I know the song is 'Have you seen her?' by The Chi - Lites, but it sounds slightly different on the advert for Hutchison 3G.

I think it just sounds different because it's distorted in the ad. This site says it's the original version:
