Lets just focus on getting labours ducks in a row for the election daveinscotland (hope am not too late amd your still around)... why some on the left are still concerned about what Boris or Nadine or Con supporters think or say among themselfs is a mystery to me, just let them get on with it until the election comes
// Tory MPs are alarmed that they will be ousted by the voters at the next election. //

Er, that was the reason Johnson was ousted in the first place. It was the reason Sir Graham Brady forbid Johnson from standing against Sunak in a leadership challenge.

Not sure the public want Johnson back, and Tory MPs certainly don’t. Johnson lied constantly which was his downfall. Archer was a fantasist who also had trouble telling the truth, resulting in his two years imprisonment for perjury and perverting justice.
Gromit, Boris was going to stand against Sunak. He had the numbers but withdrew. I think a lot of tories - and Tory MPs - would like him back - but that wouldn’t save Red Wall seats gained in 2019. That time has passed.
Boris claimed he had the numbers but there was never any evidence that he did.
Sir Graham Brady confirmed he had the numbers.
Yet only 54 MPs confirmed that they were with him?
Brady stopped Johnson’s leadership election with Sunak.
Tory MPs had sent over 50 letters to Brady demanding he be ousted, so the last thing they wanted was his return a few weeks later.
Sunak has a hard job regaining the publics trust, but I cannot see him doing that badly that he will be removed. Or that Brady and the 1922 will allow Johnson back.
From November, 'Speaking to the BBC, Sir Graham – chair of the Tory party’s 1922 Committee – said “two candidates” had reached the threshold, and “one of them decided not to then submit his nomination".'
And yet only 54 MPs confirmed their backing for Boris
So what? He decided not to stand.

Mad Nad is not the only one harbouring a pipe dream I feel.
Brady stopped Boris, because it was the wish of the MPs that they did not want him as leader. He got have got 150 supporters, but he was never going to be allowed back.
Meanwhile up here in Scotland the nationalist scum, the SNP still reign supreme.Seeing you are in Scortland, dave, lets join forces and finally crush these SNP nationalists.Lets do it,dave, lets do it.

You crack on me old china.
// lets join forces and finally crush these SNP nationalists //

Good luck with that. The SNP (and Alba) have nearly three quarters of all Scotland’s MPs.
Miff wins again.

Can a Mod ask Bora to start his own thread about Scottish nationalists? Unsure what its relevance is to the projected return of Bozo, other than it’s the country where he officially tendered his resignation? Oh the shame.
@16.27.So you think nationalism is a good idea now, gromit?
