The song is 'The Impossible Dream' and although I cannot be sure who it is, as it has been sung by various artists, Matt Monro did the first version I can remember.

The song is Impossible Dream which came from the stageshow The Man From La Manche which was also a film of the same name.Many artists have covered the song but the version on the Honda advert is sung by Andy Williams
