It's snowing like the clappers here on Tyneside. First snow I've seen in 5 years. Hope this doesn't mean we are in for a hard winter.

I have coal, logs, Pinot, food and a cuddly cat so I dont actually need to leave the house until Saturday :)

Personally I think now is the right time to stock up on gas heaters and a gas hob, sleeping bags, thermals in case of electricity and boiler failure, antibacterial wet wipes to wash with and plenty of imperishable foods such as oats, rice, dried pasta, longlife or powdered milk and canned goods if you have the funds in case people can’t get out of their homes this winter due to record breaking cold and snowfall.
